I chose to apply as an intern through the CSD internship because of my academic and personal interests in the prevention of violence and racism in vulnerable groups. In the Sociological Program, I was able to understand better and research on these topics, which substantially helped me improve my knowledge on different topics and my academic writing skills. I was able to enlarge my visions and link research data to causes and consequences through focuses on Eastern Europe. At CSD I gained confidence in drafting articles and data collection.
Moreover, Sofia is a beautiful and calm city with an interesting culture and history. I explored the city and had the possibility to travel, respecting the COVID regulations, within Bulgaria, an intriguing country with diverse traditions.
Finally, I do believe my time at CSD will be helpful in the future. I would like to take this opportunity to say a few words about the CSD staff. Thanks to their flexibility, preparedness, and openness to feedback, I was able to enjoy my experience to the fullest.
