Biography

Iliana Boycheva works as an Analyst at the Law Program of the Center for the Study of Democracy. Her research focuses on criminal justice, domestic violence, protection of fundamental rights and rule of law.

She is involved in projects in the field of child-friendly justice, violence against women and rule of law acquis communautaire awareness among lawyers. Her interests reside in the national and supranational remedies for the protection of fundamental rights and freedoms.

Since September 2022 Iliana is also a Country Reporter for Bulgaria of the CELIS Institute on the Screening of Foreign Direct Investments.

Prior to joining the CSD team, Iliana worked in the private sector. In 2021 she was an intern at Sofia City Court.
