Biography
Christophe Rolland currently works as an analyst in the Economic Program at the Centre for the Study of Democracy in Sofia and took part in the coordination of Energy Projects funded by the European Commission. His research focuses on Decarbonisation and the Development of Renewable Energy in Europe, Russian economic influence in the Western Balkans, Innovation and Smart-Specialisation Strategies.
Since joining CSD in 2018, he has worked on projects related to the Russian economic and media influence in South East Europe and in H2020 Energy Projects funded by the European Commission.
Prior to joining CSD, Christophe worked as a business consultant in Italy and volunteered in NGOs engaged in language learning activities for asylum seekers in France and Czech Republic.
