Public Attitude Towards Corruption - Press Conference


On February 10, 2000, in the Center for the Study of Democracy, Bulgarian journalists were invited to a press conference. Mr. Alexander Stoyanov, Director at Vitosha Research Polling Agency, presented the latest data on public perceptions about corruption. Despite a slight augmentation of the percentage of public intolerence toward bribery, the corruption situation in the country has been described as rather worrisome.
