Biography

Dr. Prohasky taught International Trade in the University of National and World Economy until 1991. Between 1990 and 1997 he was the Executive Director of Open Society Foundation in Bulgaria and from 1997 to 2001 Dr. Prohasky was Chief Economic Advisor to the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria and Chairman of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange. From 2000 till 2002 he was also Chairman of the Board of SIBANK. Dr. Prohasky is co-founder and currently Chairman of the Center for Economic Development in Sofia.
